This is an alternative motor mount for the RCTimer Trooper Y6 multicopter, designed by user frj79 in the Trooper thread on rcgroups.com. I helped with the printing and thought others might be interested in the STL file as well.Print in ABS or PETG, do not print in PLA (it will not hold). Use a brim to make sure the mount comes out flat. You will need 4 mounts per arm, in total 12 mounts for all motors. Use carbon fiber plates on top of the mounts to attach the motors, as shown in the images. I used 25% infill and it is plenty strong but only weighs about 3 grams per mount. You can add more infill if you want to make it even stronger.
