The Bilge pump thruster is a great way to mount a bilge pump to an 1/2"PVC frame. The quill mounting system will fit into a fitting or into the 1/2" tube. Now included are the scad files. Mount is parametic, so feel free to edit for you needs. The two and three blade propellers available on thingiverse. These fit with around 2mm of clearance between the cowling and propeller. The text writing credit goes to HARLANDMII for his write.scad program. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16193 We use support and print with the end that mounts to the motor down. Previous versions built out from the pillars and did not require support to print. We found that this build out significantly reduced the volume of water that was able to reach the propeller. The mount is held onto the motor with a 10-24 x 1" bolt and lock nut. The quill is held together with a 8-32 x 1 1/4" bolt and lock nut in the base of the quill. There are two options for mounting. You can mount directly into a 1/2 PVC fitting using the bottomwedge_tee and middlewedge_tee, or glue a 1/2 tube into your fitting and use the bottomwedge_tube and middlewedge_tube. We have found using the tube wedges gave slightly better holding power. The motor used is a Johnson Cartridge Bilge Pump 500 gallon per hour. Model 2855
