It is a single piece that allows you to mount the original USB plug. There are two sound horns (yes, I know there is only one speaker on the bottom but it looks better symmetrical and the other horn can route sounds to the mic) to allow you to hear the sounds without being too muffled or distorted. There are mounting holes and guides on the bottom to align and mount the optional pad with. If you are looking for a dock for a Note 3, check my other version at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:952461.Printing the unit is pretty straight forward. To mount the power cord, I attached it to the phone and put the phone in the dock. Once it was where I wanted it, I used hot glue to mount it in place. I routed the cord out the bottom and hot glued it down. There is an optional bottom pad that can be printed in a flex type material to serve as a non-slip bottom. Or you can print in a hard plastic and use to trap the cord in the grove. Rubber feet can be put onto the hard plastic pad then.
