The DeWalt Li-Ion cordless drill (model DCD710) has become my "go to drill", favoring it over my larger models. It's very small, fits my hand well and is surprisingly powerful. My only complaint is that it lacks a clip to hold a screwdriver bit. This 3D part solves that by adding a screwdriver bit holder to the side of the drill.
STL along with Solidworks, OpenSCAD and Step design files are included. The part was made on a MakerBot Replicator 2 with PLA filament.
The clip is printed with 2 shells, 15% infill, a 0.2mm layer height. It should be printed vertically (on its left side) so that no supports are needed.
It is attached to the drill's body using 13 small drops of superglue. There is a label on the drill at the location where the clip is mounted which should be removing first. I recommend clamping the part to the drill for 30 minutes while the superglue dries.
