I made this to hold my seed starting peat pots. It's made to let excess water drain out and the base is a kind of auto watering system. Hopefully. I'm still printing them out, the cups take about 4 hours and 20 minutes a piece, about 8 and a half hours if you print two at one time. The base takes about 3 hours, one at a time. I have it set to 15% infill, 2 shells, and .20 mm layer height, using Makerware and Makerbot Replicator 2. It printed fine, a few pulled up, and one of the bases did. I would recommend a heated build plate, but it will work fine without it. I made this in Vectorworks 2008, which isn't the easiest program to do designs in. If anyone has any suggestions for alternate programs, I will gladly try them out.Makerware Infill: 15% Number of Shells: 2 Layer Height: 0.20 mm No Raft No Supports Heated build plate recommended, though I don't have one :( The Cup is 3 3/8 inches wide at the top, 2 1/8 inches at the base, 3 inches tall, and 1/8 inch thick. The Base is 4 inches across, 1 inch deep, and 1/8 inch thick. I made this in Vectorworks 2008, which isn't the easiest program to do designs in. If anyone has any suggestions for alternate programs, I will gladly try them out.
