This is my attempt at a design for a skew planar 5.8ghz soldering jig after spending much time fiddling with soldering each lobe separately. The jig is made to hold all pieces at the right position and angle and can be conveniently disassembled when done to remove the antenna making it easy to solder all the pieces at once and save time. Wire length - 53mm wire length, 13mm side bends (from IBcrazy's tutorial) http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1388264 Refer to instructions tab on how to assemble/use and print settings. I'll be posting test results soon. If this helped you, I'd love to see images or comments with feedback! All pieces were printed at .1mm resolution (i dont think higher will work), 2 shells, and 15% infill. Skew Planar: Print 2 main halves, 4 clips, and one bottom piece. Assemble according to image Lobes must be bent separately and then placed the jig. The more easily they fit into the printed grooves, the better. Cloverleaf: Design not complete
