*see links below This thing is designed to be screwed into the side of a container and hold an 8mm diameter rod. We used a waterproofed storage box to hold all of our various colors of filament. The 8mm (diameter) rod sits in the holder on the wall of the container allowing the spools to spin freely. Then each different color of filament has its own port and teflon tube which it flows to and then can be fed into the print head. We also added a desiccant to soak up any water that might make its way in when the box is opened from time to time.
