To be able to stack the Ikea Tjusig shoe rack, four high, I created plastic rings that keep the racks exactly one on top of the other, and keeps them from moving. The rings have a tiny inside notch that assures that the rings won't slip down. You may use four rings for each level, or just two rings on diagonal legs of the rack.
