I was bored one Sunday, and was looking for a quick project. I found plans for a putt putt boat and started making it. Part way through, I realized the milk carton I cut in to a boat shape was no longer waterproof. I later cut a boat shape out of an old protein bottle. Long story short, I wanted a boat like the putt putt boat directions, so I designed one. This can be printed with or without support material. If you print it with support material, only do exterior, because the inside would be hard to scoop out.I printed it without support material, but it required a little bit of cleanup inside and a little on the bow. I also printed it with 2 shells and 10% infill. To build the engine, the instructions can be found here: http://www.sciencetoymaker.org/boat/Once the engine is assembled, they can be fastened to the boat with a twist tie. It would also be a good idea to cover the straw hole and twist tie holes with some two part epoxy. The tea light can be held in place with a loop of tape, or double sided tape.
