I recently found myself in need of an umbrella and speedlite holder for an upcoming photo shoot. I ordered several from Amazon, but they did not ship on time. So I did what any self respecting Maker would do... I turned on my printer, and while it was warming up, I quickly through together a 90° Umbrella / Flash mount. This bracket does require gluing, screwing, and tapping. So make sure to read the instructions. This bracket will fit on a common photography light stand with a 15mm post mount. You need to print out the two pieces and glue the shoe mount onto the bracket. I know this is a quick and dirty design, but I only needed it to last for one shoot. The included Hot Shoe' Tripod Adapter is designed by walter and I have added a link to it in the sources section. I glue the parts together using Acetone as it forms a "welded" bond and the plastic actually becomes one solid piece. Print the umbrella bracket fairly fast with .35 infill and the shoe mount very slow at .25 layer height, and 100% infill. I have also included optional (recommended) holes that you can drill and tap for 1/4-20 bolts to keep everything nice and secure.
