ATTN: there is a new version of this model here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:955440 For absolute minimalism you may prefer this one though. A first try at modeling a 180MM frame for a quadcopter. The only holes modeled into it are for the motors (12mm crosswise) and PDB/Flight controller (30mm edgewise). It surprised me with how well it flies.I printed this with Hatchbox ABS with 25% infill because I assumed it wouldn't fit quite right and I would have to reprint with modifications. Surprisingly everything fit fine and it actually flies very well. If I print it again I'll probably increase the infill to at least 50% if not 100%. I used a knockoff CC3D FMU, a ReadyToFlyQuads 4-in-1 ESC, DYS 1306 3100KV motors, Gemfan 4045 props, an OrangeRC R410X receiver and a Spektrum Ultra Micro FPV camera. For the ESC and FMU I used nylon M3 screws and nuts, with some M3 o-rings for spacers. For everything else I made extensive use of velcro tape and zip ties to get everything on it. It can handle 3s 1000mah batteries without much issue but for indoors a 2s battery makes for easier flying.
