Preventing filament movement sideways.Less Filament deformation.i made this grooved Ring for the new feeder upgrade from Ultimaker.Replaces the delrin ring. Test at your own Risk.100% infill.needs to be tight fit.you may have to adjust this to your Printer tolerances.i would like to make the outer diameter bigger but it wont fit without changing the whole pressure lever.
