Ultimaker RTV Silicone anti-vibration feet template A Template to form anti-vibration feet / cooling feet. This is a link to a Video of previous silicone projects, the theory is the same. http://youtu.be/OaK46BK0zEY To download the latest versions visit my see my Webpages stash http://intensewalkera.webspace.virginmedia.com/ mix up your silicone and catalyst and pour. i used rtv 2020 silcone/catalyst. (Medium Hardness) checkout how to make the rtv silicone mix on google etc, there is plenty of info on there. i used medium hardness silicone as a guess. These feet also allow for about a 25mm increase in height, to allow better airflow for the electronics and better access to the Junk* that accumulates underneath.i use Cura on my Ultimaker Original to prepare the print. see the uploaded jpeg for my base settings. The photos differ slightly to the actual stl files, as i printed a hybrid double version. i will modify these stl files again shortly, so that it is easier to remove the mold, i will make a "cake tin" style template for someone else to test. The V1 mold is fine, it just required a bit of patience to remove it. Just keep working the edges away with a wide flat tool and eventually you can work it loose.
