Taking flight - the Zen Elephant has had owl wings adapted on to it for heavy lifting. [ To the curious: My print photos show very rough prints - I printed the elephant quite fast with an untuned printer on a wobbly table and it consequently shows in the shaky print lines. Suggestion: Print yours slow for a nice show piece. ] Use Suggestion: This item might look nice scaled down and used to mold/cast jewelry pendants. Or printed in metal. Warning: Don't look up when a Winged Zen Elephant flies over. Print with support for the wings. Base option: The base is designed to be easily removed, It can be kept or simply torn off the elephant's feet and trunk. Display/play options are: Standing or hanging with or without the base. How this was Created: I saw the Zen Elephant by 0827 and showed it to a friend's wife. She exclaimed, "How Nice!" and then asked, "Can you print one with wings?" So, I thought about it and realized a common go to wing style is an Eagles wings. These were not practical for a large round elephant. I looked more and saw an owl and thought that owls are like miniature elephants - round and heavy. I also saw that the owl's wings were short and shaped for heavy lifting. Thus, the making of a Fantasy Animal emerged from imagining owl's wings carrying a heavy, round, regal 'Zen Elephant.' This model is dedicated to: Mrs. Kristen Haskell of Springfield, MO
