
The previous design was meant to allow for experimentation in placement and the like.This thing improves on the original design by integrating the shelf clip into the motor holding rectangle itself. The shelf clip is also shifted to be at the top of the side of the rectangle, rather than at the top. This gives a little bit more stable support when the motor is spinning.1) Grab your Nema 17 motor 2) Put one or two of these sleeves on it 3) Slide the mount onto a 'shelf'. -- Default configuration is 6.5mm for the shelf thickness -- 4) Rejoice!This one could probably use a fastener of some sort. You could go with driving a screw through it, and locking to the shelf. Or you could simply glue the clip to the shelf.Using two clips makes things even more stable. There is room to fit three if you want total coverage.You can configure your own size fairly easily in the OpenScad file.
