Starting to get somewhere in solid works 3d sketch now. I am working to reverse engineer natural beauty, but "the creator" is a hard act to follow. The color is ugly, but I'm not much of a painter. I'd rather program a robot to do that...I printed this in 5 parts on my thing-o-matic. It needs some work yet, but I gave up after sealing it together only to find the pump I used falls about an inch short of actually making this thing work... The pump is from a store bought fountain, but if anyone finds a low-voltage fountain pump that really packs a punch for its size, let me know (or if someone is having luck printing one!). I uploaded the stl's, the top rock wall printed really neat laying down flat, but it was very close to catching the front wall of the makerbot so be careful. This is my best tree yet, but I am still not happy with it. Maybe some day I will upload a tree stl... I am willing to do some further modifications in return for some positive feedback, I just lost the self motivation for it.
