I need to photo the eclipse on march 20th and other images of the sun. this is a disc that slides over the lense at full zoom and allows me to put a filter from some solar glasses in side to filter the sun. will include a photo of item once printed - this is my first design so i hope it goes well ! could also be used to hold other filters as well Just changed the height of the cap as when i tried it today it fell off ! so given it a lot more neck to sit on the lens bettersorry you will have to lay items on bed - still learning to use this Print of the pieces and then take a solar glasses filter and cut to fit inside the cap - fit together and put on camera i printed at .3mm and 10% fill 2 shells - the whole thing took about 24 mins. ideally i should have used a screw thread - but i am new to this! so did something quick
