I recently bought a new bike and realized that the front fender of my old bike could not be installed on my new bike. the diameter of the tube under the handle bars was too small for the mounting piece of the fender, so i made a new smaller mount piece and it was a success.the mount piece that originally came with the fender had two small tabs on the bottom of it (you can see the tabs in the photos of the finished product) but I did not print these because it was making things difficult. i printed the 2 pieces as they are in the stl and 3dm file, then drilled out 2 holes in the sides and glued in some carbon rod (you can use anything really). the nut and bolt came with the original fender mounts. I modeled this piece in Rhinoceros 3D and have included the 3dm file, since other people may have to adjust the diameter of the cylinder to fit their bike also. This was printed on an older version of the printerbot simple at 0.3mm layers PLA. no support material needed. this is the type of fender I am using: http://www.topeak.com/products/Fenders/defender_m1_xc11_29in_set
