A cylindrical cut tapers ever smaller along a horseshoe path, allowing queen ants of all sizes to choose the most comfortable nesting location. A cut-to-size acrylic panel is fitted on top, preventing the ants from escaping. Cotton filling is stuffed in the three, middle water reservoirs, allowing for controlled release of humidity to desired portions of the nesting area.
