This is my take of a cyclonic separator that I found on the web http://woodgears.ca/reader/walters/cyclone.html as designed by Ronald Walters made of balsa wood. Much respect for taking the time to make this out of wood strips but I don't have that kind of patience. I "whitewashed" it with acetone to slick it over to improve strength at the layers. I added a cyclonic ridge to give to a bit more air circulation. Maybe it helps maybe it was just for fun. Also the side vent is closed for printing purposes to improve print quality as sometimes I find large openings will have a layer or two lift causing cracks. Support is designed into the file. I have included the solidworks file so that you may adapt it to your hoses. I was greatly impressed with its function and am hopeful to never buy another filter again.
