This adaptor fits e3d hotend to a 3Drag/K8200 printer, without integrated fan duct (my hotend had a nice molded one included). Very simple but rigid and work well. BOM: +1 pcs. adaptor. +4 pcs. M3 nuts. +4pcs M3x18mm (or longer) bolts. All 4 are included on your standard hotend and can be reused.-Print upside down compared to when mounted on printer. (I tried borh ways and the 45 deg slopes get much better finish when turned up) I used ABS 0.2mm layers, 0.3mm extrusion width, 0.5mm nozzle. I think PLA will do just as well. Warmth is not an issue, my upper slice of heat sink is room tempered when the nozzle is 250 deg Celsius. 1) Print the adaptor. 2) Drill all 6 holes to 3mm, just to be sure... 3) Put the 2 halves together around the heat sink, with the 2 horizontal bolts, as shown pictures. Notice that the bolts are oriented in opposite directions. This is because the 2 halves are identical. (No need to have different spare parts). DO NOT turn too hard (I know it is tempting). 4) Mount it all at the 2 bolts sticking out vertically where you removed your previous hotend. This can be hard, but use a screwdriver or similar to put pressure from top so that the 2 bolts penetrate the holes. 5) Mount the 2 nuts. 6) Enjoy!
