These pieces can be assembled to create a square pot-holder loom. Depending on how you assemble it, you can either make small (10cm) or medium sized (20cm) square looms. A pot-holder loom is one of the simplest ways to begin weaving, as it has no moving parts. This one is best suited to bulky yarns, but can be used for lighter yarns if you can double them up. Printed at 0.3mm with hollow fill on an UP Mini. (As a side note, the 20cm loom is a perfect size for blanket squares, if you feel like crafting for charity.)To assemble a small (10cm) loom, print four straight pieces and four corner pieces. Slot the ends of the straight pieces into the corner slots to create a square. The "hooks" of the straight pieces will be facing outward. To assemble a larger (20cm) loom, print eight straight pieces, four corner pieces, and four straight_join pieces. Connect the straight pieces in pairs using the straight_join pieces to make 20cm long lengths, then use the four corner pieces to combine into a square. To weave using standard, bulky yarn, wrap the end of the yarn around one of the corner pieces, then wrap the yarn around the hooks on opposite ends until each hook has yarn on it. These are the warp threads. Do not pull the yarn too tightly, or your loom will bend (or possibly even snap). Now, take the remaining yarn, wrap it around one of the side hooks, and weave it alternately over and under the warp threads. Wrap it around a hook, and repeat the process in the other direction.
