Good news everyone! This is the Planet Express Ship from Futurama that I modeled from scratch in Solidworks! I designed it so that it could be printed with little to no support material as well as be very large since each piece can take up the full print area of the printer and then be bonded with superglue. Feel free to repost this as long as you link back to this page. Also, I would like it if you send me a message if you repost, just to see where people are posting it around the web.Print out all of the pieces on your 3D printer (I use a PP3DP UP!) and bond them with superglue. You'll need to print two side fins and one of everything else. If you plan to paint it, I recommend doing that before bonding as some things could be difficult to paint once assembled. I printed this at 50% scale and "big hole" fill (the loosest setting of the UP! printer) and it used somewhere around 100g of filament (1/7th of a factory ABS filament roll from PP3DP)
