Pahoehoe lava from the Aopo Volcanic Field which erupted in1906 (I think) on the north side of Savai'i, Samoa. This vesicular basalt is an example of the hot-spot volcanism that created the Samoan Archipelago. Collected December 2006. Scanned in Dr. Franek Hasiuk's GeoFabLab at Iowa State University. Scan Specifications: Scanned with the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner set on "Dark."
