Maybe the simplest spool holder for Prusa i3 Aluminium frame (6 mm) you can image. Additionally required: One 8 mm rod, recommended length about 29 cm. It's working perfectly for me :-) P.S.: With a length of 18 cm, It is printable on a Prusa i3.Just print two of them. Mount them on top of your Prusa i3 Aluminum Frame and add a 8 mm rod between them. It is recommended to use a rod of 29 cm length. Finished! You are now able to store (and use) up to two spools. Only tested with a 1kg spool.
