A complete Geiger counter case to hold the Geiger counter electronics, power supply, and tube using the kit from https://sites.google.com/site/diygeigercounter/. The kit consists of the base, lid, and protective covering for a VA-Z 115 tube, along with a snap-in tube holder for the tube on the lid. This design was inspired after seeing the other projects on DIYGeigerCounter's site, and the case design of Stephen. The design goals for my design were to make the entire assembly more compact, add tone and brightness side controls, and allow for the lid to be pressure-fit (removing the need for screws and making the internals easier to access). The attached python file runs a BRL-CAD script to create the solid model. This script NEEDS TO BE UPDATED so that the executable path points to your installation of BRL-CAD. Then, any of the several BRL-CAD exporters can be used to quickly and accurately export the model to the desired format (such as the attached STL models). The base and lid will just fit on a Printrbot Jr (v1).
