This is a remix of three different "things" to form a new Sleigh combination. The sleigh was made more easily printable by separating the runners. The reindeer were resized from another "thing". The Santa was extracted from a third "thing" and sized to fit the sleigh. I've also posted some further detail on this item on my blog: http://numbersixreprap.blogspot.ie/2013/12/santa-sleighho-ho-ho.html Print, assemble, decorate and enjoy. Don't forget the Instruction tab here also. Regards, NumberSix Download, slice, print and assemble. The components are supplied individually and in groups. Reindeer: If your print bed is nice and level and has the area you can print the six reindeer and supporting bar in one go. The dear work well sliced at .3mm and 25% fill. Sleigh: The sleigh body prints best on it's side (as supplied), with support enabled. Again, .3mm, with 20% fill or even less works. Santa: Santa prints well hollow or any low fill %. He does need support enabled though to support his arms and hat as it prints. I used Cura to print Santa with good results, using an advanced setting to sit him 2mm below the base giving a flat bottom to sit on. Sleigh Runners (sides): There's a left and right side because the lower section is narrower. Examine the sliced gcode in some previewer to ensure adequate infill between the narrow swirls. Print the first layer slowly so the narrow swirls take well to the print bed. Assembly tips: Removed the support material from the sleigh body, and the little hole in the front of the body. Remove and clean any plastic flashing or blips from the inside of runners (sides) where they push on to the sleigh body. Test fit without glue first, then sit one side (runner) flat on a protected surface, dab some glue around the edge of the of the sleigh and push the sleigh into the side. If you want the body recessed from the side then cut a small piece of card to act as a spacer. Repeat for the other side of the sleigh. If the bars are a good fit for the square hole in the reindeer then no glue may be needed. If it's a bit loose then a dab of glue will secure. The bar with reindeer attached just pushes into the square hole in the front of the sleigh. Glue in place if loose. Glue Santa into the sleigh if desired.
