The TinyCylon is a very small (49.5mm x 10.5mm) 12 LED Larson Scanner. It runs off 4 pins on an ATTiny85.We're able to run 12 LEDs from 4 pins via Charlieplexing. We've used SMD Components to keep the size small. In particular 1206 SMD LEDs and 0805 SMD Resistors. The board schematics are available for KiCad.Kit is now available at http://phenoptix.com/products/phenoptix-tinycylon-12-led-larson-scanner-kit-smd-soldering-kit still a work in progress though! To make your TinyCylon you'll need to make the PCB (or have it made), later you might be able to buy it from us!You'll need: 12 x 1206 SMD LEDs (colour of your choice) 4 x 0805 SMD Resistors - appropriate to your LEDs and the voltage you run the TinyCylon on (1.8v to 5V) 1 x ATTiny85 SMD SOIC and the ability to program it. We use an Arduino Uno with a PROTO shield to program them. Then you just have to do some fiddly soldering to do. Full instructions for soldering this little fella up are available here: http://www.phenoptix.com/blogs/news/6795100-tinycylon-build-it
