This is a spindle mount for the Proxxon IBS/E to attach to the z-axis bracket of the Shapeoko2. This mount add-on pushes the tool out providing clearance at the top of the z-axis and also aligns the tool vertically. This is still a work in progress for the top mount. This print was the initial test print. The next design will touch the Proxxon all the way around on the top mount.Initially printed at 20% infill and .3mm layer height to reduce prototyping print time. Over tightening the bolts could cause crushing issues, so if printed for longer term use, I would print at least 90% infill. The top mount uses the bolts that came for the mount. The bottom mount uses M5x30mm bolts to mount it to the original aluminum mount. The bottom mount uses a capture nut and a M3x30mm bolt through the base for the cap. A shorter bolt could be used. Anything longer than 30mm will hit the back of the mount.
