I designed this pulse motor to enter the "Pulse Motor Build Off" linked here: http://open-source-energy.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=575I had tried to use a bedini circuit, but had no luck. You can see my final result here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z7JODtxlz4I printed the torus with 25% infill, and the rest of the parts with 35%. Print the torus with support set for "everywhere" and the frame set to "exterior only" The trigger coil is sized so that a BIC pen can be used for the spindle of the bobbin. The magnets are a snap fit into the rotor pockets. One after thought is there is no access hole to pop the magnets back out. I had to use a pliers to snap them in, so be sure of your magnet's polaritiy before you start. The 608 bearing is a snug fit, and also the printed bearing cover has to be pressed in. I did not have to use any glues.Parts needed: 1 608 ball bearing 4 5/16 inch stainless steel nuts 1 small length of 5/16 inch stainless steel threaded rod 4 Stainless Steel washers 9 3/4 inch diameter by 1/2 length Neo magnets (I only used 3) 200+ feet of 24 awg magnet wire 1 pulsing circuit of your choice 1 BIC pen for optional trigger coil
