This is version 2 of our work to equip the Ultimaker 3D printer with up to 4 exchangeable 'cassettes'. For v.1 and development rationale, see Thing 25836: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25836.For this version, we decided to use 3D-printed parts alongside birchwood.(Developed at Protospace Utrecht with help from Douwe van der Veen/appultaart</i?)For general instructions, see the prior version of this Thing at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25836. In short: use a lasercutter to cut the parts in the .svg file from 4mm wood.
use a 3D-printer to print the plastic part that is present in the .stl file. Mount all together, and use a 3mm metal screwpin (which is a standard part of the Ultimaker extruder head) to adjust height. Please share advise or suggestions regarding the height adjustment mechanism.
