After designing my replacement keycap http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31995 I thought I could of course remove all the other keys and replace them with old typewriter keys - so I quickly sketched up a typewriter-like keycap that should fit on the Das Keyboard switches. I don't know if I will ever need it, but after the problems I had with the "original" key design it was really easy to put this together, so, yeah...If you want to steampunkify your Das Keyboard, just print out some of these...I have no access to a 3D printer yet so all my designs are untested.Update: I made a version with a slight concave on the top (Typewriter key2.stl - you can't tell from the rendering) - again, simply cosmetical in nature but it might actually be counterproductive if you want to go with the Von-Slatt version of attaching your typewriter keys (As seen on http://steampunkworkshop.com/keyboard.shtml)
