Wall adapter cord management (North American). For North American AC power styles. This was inspired by walter's Lightning Cable Wrap http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:316621 published recently. I wondered if the principle could be applied to all these pesky wall adapter cords... Still wondering, because I don't know if it is convenient enough to be used in the long run or if twist ties are just better suited to the job. I didn't search for similar designs. I don't like to be influenced, preferring to build from scratch. If someone published something similar then credit to them. The tiny rectangular holes for the "tangs" will probably need a little filing with a jeweler's file to open them up . Some of my AC plugs fit better than others due to manufacturing choices or to allowed tolerances. YMMV. On double insulated devices the two tangs can be the same size (no wide tang). I think this applies to all the simple wall adapters but it's just a guess. If, after wrapping, the cable's end is too close or too far from an end slot, it can be re-wrapped a bit looser or tighter. The cable on this Grundig Radio adapter is ~6 feet (2m) long, roughly 3mm wide, and fits with room to spare. 42 minutes, 22 grams ABs using Afinia defaults: 0.30 Z, medium speed with a raft. Finished part weighs 11 grams... so there's a high percentage of raft / support.
