Hi everyone, I uploaded this Thing for you to test it out! As this is a school project, there can be some flaws in the design that I overlooked but all should be fine. The purpose if this design is to store your picks so that you can acces them quickly while playing guitar. It also mutes any excess noise from your strings when you play with a lot of gain or in lower tunings. This is based on "the Jimmy Clip", be sure to google it if you are interested. You can put this on any 6-string guitar or anywhere you want, but it is designed to place it on the strings on the headstock of the guitar, after they leave the nut. [EDIT] This is the first time I upload something here. [EDIT] The general dimension of the whole part is 70x17x13 millimeters.Look in the Gallery to see how you have to put it together. I uploaded 4 files, but you only need "Top Part and "Bottom Part" for printing. The other 2 files are the rubber parts that go inside the clip, I just uploaded them so you can change it or if you want to check the dimensions. For the bolt you can use an M2 bolt that is at least 20 millimeters long and a hex nut. For the spring you can use anything you want, as long as it is strong enough to keep the Thing on your guitar. I designed it with a 0,7 millimeter thick steel spring. The rubber parts are 49x14x5 millimeters and 49x14x2 millimeters. You can also use foam or even wood if you don't want to put it on your strings. Another thing to notice is that the gaps for the picks are 1 millimeter wide, but you can edit this to your wish in any CAD program. (I designed this with Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013.)
