This can be assembled with no glue. It is a much more accurate replica that the one previously posted. It was designed from scratch, only using reference images of screen used blasters. It's fun to play with, take apart, and assemble. Most importantly, it was designed for 3d printing, so it's got curves in all the right places. This blaster was made at MarsCon this weekend. They told guests we weren't allowed to bring realistic-looking weapons into the convention, so I didn't. I just brought my 3d printer in and made the blaster there... Two pins to hold the handle to the main block. Slip the three cylinders onto the back plug, which goes into the back hole of the main block. the nozzle goes in the front of the main block. The guard goes into the handle. The small crosshair piece goes inside the back scope. Back scope goes into the front scope, and the entire scope assembly attaches to the rest of the blaster using the clip. You can also force a second crosshair piece into the tip of the scope front piece if you press it in from the inside, using a pen or something similar. The two big pieces and the clip were printed with 5% infill, and two extra shells. Basically everything else was 0% infill and 2 extra shells. You can print a spare nozzle in 'safety orange' to swap out when the local fuzz gives you a hard time. I like printing with the pads, and peeling them off when it's done. It'll keep things flatter when printing in ABS, even with the heated bed. The pads are also useful for part which have little surface area touchign the platform. I prefer these to using a raft because of how much more it'll hold down the part to prevent it from curling. I guess I'm a daredevil. The files in the .zip with 'z' in front of the file name don't have the pad. updated handle: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:44249 -Todd
