This is a replacement part for a 1960 vintage Arcadia sliding door. This part serves as the latch for the door, and mounts on the door frame. Photo shows original piece, mock-up printed on a Form One, and final Shapeways piece.I printed this at Shapeways in stainless steel. To finish the piece, drill out the hole with a #29 drill and cut threads with an 8-32 tap. Use a low-profile screw head to attach the latch to the frame.
