Silicon cushion molds Silicon cushions to give your InMoov some extra grip. See the instructions on how to make those. update(15-04-2015), Left mold is available. For the entire project on which this is based, please visit http://www.inmoov.fr/ Arduino FSR code This is not the best place to post this but in order to make it easy to find (A lot of InMoov discussions are taking place on this platform) I also post a piece of code here. The code allows you to integrate certain levels of pressure into your hand. You can let it be very gentle or very firm, that is up to you and your sensors. For a basic test take a look at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwvyghCA9bw It is very basic and as I am not a professional programmer at all any comment, hint, tip or trick is welcome You may want to use the VarSpeed library: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=61586.0 I personally used these FSR's : http://www.conrad.nl/nl/druksensor-interlink-fsr-400-10-g-10-kg-503368.html but shorter ones may allow you to have the EL wire inside the fingers again (By drilling a small hole in the finger tip). Just as the code, the way it is wired right now can be improved. -Print both mold parts. The one with the actual indentations seems to be flipped in the preview (mold1). So they may appear similar but you really need both. Regarding the print quality: Print mold1 with the flat side down. Besides that it doesn't really matter as long you consider that the silicon parts will mimic the print quality. Also keep in mind that strings need to be removed because you don't want those sharp dents they may leave behind. -So make sure the surfaces are smooth. -(You could) use some kind of release agent, a very cheap one can be dish soap for example. -Fill mold1 with your silicon product and lock both molds together with some 3mm bolts and nuts, just wait according to your silicon product. Be patient. -Attach the parts to your hand, I used some very basic transparent glue. However, there must be a lot of different ways to attach them, that is up to your.
