This is designed to mount your Lightning connector in the base. I would glue the connector in. This model is specifically designed to fit with the otter box Commuter case. All you need to do is cut the rubber cover out from in front of the charging port. I never much cared for that cover anyway. Sketchup file included so you can add a logo or name to the bottom. Also, just insert your charger through the hole in the back, point upward, then seat it into the provided slot. Edit: I used Solid Inspector and found a load of issues with the original STL and .skp file. I have fixed them and re uploaded.
