The intent is for this assembly to allow the experimental platform to advance to a target, and if needed stop to recharge along the way. I have not implemented this yet, so it is definitely experimental. Note: you will need to purchase a tilt/pan assembly, like the one sold by Dagu (and only use the tilt). You will also need to print the extension pieces for the vehicle chassis, as these are need to add room for the solar mast. With the LiPo batteries, the run time will be substantially less, and the recharge time will not be trivial. I may need additional batteries/a third panel for this vehicle as well. Ideally the panels would be set lower on the vehicle too, with the Lidar sitting above them. We will do this in V2. For now there will be 4x blind spots for the Lidar (the legs of the solar mast). Please refer to the photos for how this is assembled. You will need 4x springs (cable ties may suffice) and M3x15-20 bolts and nuts.
