Inspired by a facebook video that my wife showed me: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=539637342822833 I tried it with potatoes, but now that I looked it up again, I find that chef van Ramshorst was peeling apples in the video. I guess that makes more sense since they would be more symmetrical to begin with -- I wasted a lot of potato before getting all the peel off! Still, you have to attach the fruit or vegetable to the drill somehow... . It would be more effective with the type of peeler in the video as well, but I used what I had on hand. Rotate the .stl so that it lays flat before printing. If you're planning on doing apples you may want to scale it down: This is sized for maximum strength and fits a 3/8-inch drill. The .scad file has a provision for a third prong, but my test showed it to be unnecessary. For regular use I would think printing in ABS and vapor-treating it would make it more sanitary: You could likely run it through the dishwasher on the upper rack.
