This bracket holds one 36mm Omniwheel by cbiffle (thing #705, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:705). It is printable in one build on a 3D Printer and uses the same (3mm) metal rod that the Omniwheel needs.Use this bracket to mount the Omniwheel to any flat surface. You can choose between two versions:Bracket-Solid has a solid base for drilling and mounting with bolts, or velcro, etc.Bracket-Cutout is the same except the base is "cut out" such that it is gluable and uses less plastic. See the pictures for clarification. Choose and download one of the bracket files. Open it in ReplicatorG and generate the Gcode using your favorite profile.Print your bracket!Mark your metal rod to the inside width of the bracket. Cut the rod so it will just fit inside the bracket walls. This rod will be the axle for the Omniwheel. Test fit the axle in the bracket by gently bending the walls outward and placing the axle in the cradles. The walls should squeeze back together so that the sides are square and the axle is secure. Remove the axle once you know it fits.Trim any burrs from the inside of the axle holders (mount points), and trim the bushings off the ends of the Omniwheel so it will fit in the bracket between the mount points.
