Are you tired of high quality manufactured minifig heads that have faces printed on them? Do you want to retire that goofy face of yellow with one of printed filament? If you have answered yes to any of these questions then this might be the mesh for you. This mesh comes with no guarantee or warrantee of suitability for any particular purpose. Caught in the wild and never tamed, these feral heads are yours for the taking. If they bite your fingers, don't say I didn't warn you.Printed in gold bumat filament at 0.1mm layer height on a replicator2, no supports and no raft on an acrylic plate. Easy to remove thanks to the limited contact area. Extended snouts have built in support that removes easily with a knife. If the head doesn't fit, try harder. If it still doesn't fit, you're holding it wrong. Oh, wait, wrong script: try using a knife (on the printed head, not the minifig). In all seriousness, when I did the first test prints at 0.2mm layer height they were too small off the printer (a little knife work fixed them up, though), but after adjusting when I dropped to 0.1mm layer height they were too loose and I reverted to the original dimensions. That's a variance of ~0.3mm in diameter -- go makerbot. Watch out for failed extrusion toward the end, the replicator 2 at least has a problem with this (it isn't the bumat filament, it is more reliable than any sold by makerbot). The problem seem to be worse when printing singly so print them in a group -- they want the company anyway.
