This nylon presser foot didn't come with the sewing machine I bought so I designed it from their zigzag foot. I added reinforcements on this version since I had some issues with the last one. I've been experimenting sewing with leather and the metal foot seems to have too much resistance. The Taulman 618 nylon filament or something similar with a low friction coefficient is what I recommend and a #17 (#16 also fit, but the #17 worked better) nail fits into the machine. The sewing machine I have is a Brothers CE5500PRW, but should work with other makes and models. Printed and used it with no problems.Print on the side and make sure the nail head recess is on the top for reduced support removal. Supports are needed. Widen the hole with the nail then remove it. Use something like a dremel or hacksaw to cut the end of the nail off. You may also need to deburr it a little with a file to ease installation. It was a tight fit, but with a little effort it went through and the interference fit is nice because it means it won't back out easy if at all.
