I was always annoyed by most fiament-cleaner designs as you have to feed the filament through them BEFORE feeding it into the extruder. When you forgot about it, you had to unload the filament, which always means a lot of afford. So i designed this little guy! A cleaner, that can be applied AFTER loading the filament. Insert a little sponge in the smaller capsule and make a cut halfway through it. Let it slip over your filament and screw the counter-part over it. You're done! When you cut out a sponge that is slightly bigger than the inner capsule, you can adjust pressure on the filament by screwing the counter-part on it. Apply a little amount of oil to the sponge for lubrication.Print with .2 mm layerheight or better. Scale the outer part up by .02 to make it fit better! Rotate parts if needed. Enjoy!
