This project is for the Ice Box Challange #IceboxChallenge https://firstbuild.com/mizellj/bento-box/ This is a simple, two tier stacked bento box, with included cutlery. The box comes with dividers that allow you to adjust the usable space in the top and the bottom box. In the bottom box is a recess that can accept a shelf with inset places for the included knife and fork. This part is still a work in progress, all source files are provided. he photo is of the test fit parts, the final version ideally would be printed with a denser infill. Somethings to be included in the final version is a customizable scad script allowing for the adjustment of the final dimensions of the box. Photos of the final finished piece will be online as soon as the parts are sanded and painted. All files are GNU - GPL. You are free to do what ever you wish with this design, however all that I ask is that you also share the source for any recreations, or derivitives. No attributation is necessary or desired. This part is still a work in progress, all source files are provided. Somethings to be included in the final version is a customizable scad script allowing for the adjustment of the final dimensions of the box. I printed these with a 10% infill, and a 0.3mm nozzle. Everything should be able to be printed with out supports. The fork itself has one version with supports added, and one with out. The one with supports added should be simple to clean, and finish with a fine sand paper. You'll need the following quantity of each part. 1x bento-top-box.stl 1x bent-bottom-box.stl 1x bento-shelf.stl 1x bento-lid.stl 3x bento-foot.stl 1x bent-fork-w-supports.stl or bent-fork-no-supports.stl 1x bento-knife.stl 1-6x bento-divider.stl With all parts printed, carefully glue the bento-foot.stl part to the bottom of bento-top-box.stl, bent-bottom-box.stl, and bento-lid.stl. Pay careful attention that you are properly centered, as this will be the guide that keeps the top box and lid in place when stacked. I use regular cyanoacrylate to glue the parts together. http://www.amazon.com/Insta-cure-filling-Bob-Smith-Ind/dp/B0000DD1QQ/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_y This box can be easily customized by adding additional boxes. To secure the set together I suggest using an elastic fabric band sewed together, or a cloth ribbon.
