Here are my modified Wilson TS parts. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:255605). I have done the following modifications: Replaced Wade type direct extruder with a Bowden extruder to minimize weight on the moving parts. For the mount, I used a design inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:381061, rebuildt it from scratch in solidworks to make even better airflow, and make it fit a E3D V5 chinese clone hotend (which is a pretty good hotend, when treated right). The extruder was inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:245677 rebuildt the base to make it easy to mount on the side of the wilson. My design uses a MK8 drive gear. I also added auto bed leveling inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:263180, also rebuildt from scratch, modified it to use a printed part and a M3 machine screw as rod. It's lighter and easier to make. The system uses an optical switch, and is very accurate indeed. The spring is optional, but if you use one, try to find a soft spring. It does not need to do anything but gently push the rod out. (Gravity will actually do it without the spring). The design uses a SG90 9G micro servo. They are easy to find, cheap and works very well. Any questions, feel free to ask in the comments.. I will try to answer as soon as I see them. To make the autolevel system work in Marlin, I highly recommend Zennmasters excellent instruction video at http://zennmaster.com/random-things/auto-bed-leveling-for-the-makerfarm-prusa-i3-part-2-setting-up-marlin Here's a video of it autoleveling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIzJnyOk_vg Happy modding, dexus. All parts are printable without support. 0.3 layer height, 3 perimiters and 15% infill on all parts except the extruder part, where I used 0.2 layer height, 40% infill and 4 perimiters (needs to be strong). To assemble you will need: Bowden mount: 4 pcs M3x30 machine screws 4 pcs M3 nuts, The screws that came with the fans or similar (they screw into the plastic). Autolevel rig: One optical sensor (search ebay for optical sensor reprap, see the picture) One SG90 micro servo (ebay) The screws that came with your servo. The optical sensor is made to snap in place, but I added holes to fasten it with two M3X12 screws and M3 nuts. Extruder: 2 pcs binder clip arms from large binder clip (I used a clip measureing 32X20mm) 2 pcs M3X20. 1 pcs M3X8, 2 pcs M3X6, 1 pcs M3X12 + 2 M5X8, with T-nuts to fasten it to the Wilson. See the original author's thing for assembly instructions. To make the Autoleveling feature not retract the probe between positions, and make it lift the probe before retracting it, see this post in the marlin github forum to make the necessary changes to marlin: http://3dprintboard.com/archive/index.php/t-3105.html everything you need to do is in the first post.
