I purchased the Quanum Goggles but wanted the ability to be able to take them apart and clean them or change the magnifying lens. I looked around to see if anyone designed anything but did not find one so I designed this in SketchUp. Worked out real nice.I designed this to use M3.5 14mm metric button head screws. On the goggles, I used a 13/37 drill bit to drill a hole to fit the stud pieces in to each half on the side. Both in front and behind the slide area. (PLEAS, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR WORK TWICE BEFORE YOU DRILL OR CUT!) ( I also do not take any responsibility it you damage your goggles.) Once I am happy with the holes, I epoxy the studs in and let dry. I used a 7/64 drill bit to clean the holes in the studs so the M3 screws can screw in cleanly. Once the epoxy is dry, then screw together with the strap parts for both the front and back. Once again, use the 7/64 drill bit to clean the holes on the "screw pad with strap clamp" parts. Attach the clamp head with the M3 screws and place the strap between the two parts. Tighten the screws and you are all done. Looking at the pictures I posted should help if you have any questions. This setup worked out very nice for my goggles. Enjoy.
