Rock around the Clock, counterclockwise!!! Inspired by a large stack of old 7" vinyls and a spare clock mechanism. Vinyl & Clock face both turn throughout the day. Assembly requires; x1 standard clock mechanism x1 M4 screw (around 20mm long) All parts printable on 10mmx 10mm print bed. no glue required. No overhangs so all parts print very easily. interchangeable components available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:571327 Arm retracts so vinyl can be changed easily from time to time. Top tip; If printer only has 1 extruder like mine, simply cut and change filament during the print to create colour change. This method works great on the glow int he dark filament as shown in image.Attach "Rear Arm.STL" to clock mechanism (where a clockface would normally go). Tighten this in place by turning. Attach "Rear Grip.STL" to clock mechanism (where the hour hand would normally go). Place 7" Vinyl onto rear grip Use "Grip Front.....STL" to hold vinyl in place. Use M4 screw to attach "rear arm" to "Arm - Makerbot". This can rotate into place.
