As I had a couple of MultiStar 1704 motors laying and doing nothing, I've created a small, simple frame to make use of them. The frame has a motor span of 13.5 mm, so the 5" props are the biggest you can fit there. Printed using 50% infill and 2mm shell thickness the frame (main plate) weights 33 grams and seem to be rigid enough. The motor mounting holes are 14mm apart to fit MultiStar 1704 motors. I'll be preparing a version for other motors as well. If you wish you may mount your FC on a avti vibration plate using rubber anti-vibration mounts (e.g. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=37447&aff=1479188). It seems to help a lot as the small cheap props are hard to balance. For better anti vibration results I have created alternative versions ("_alt" in the file names) of the main frame and FC mount plate). In this variant the battery plate is mounted through the holes in the main frame to the FC plate which is mounted to the main frame through rubber mounts. Additional weight of the battery results in better dumping performance. You may also want to use a mini PDB like this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=56831&aff=1479188. It fits the frame well. There are also two additional plates: top cover for the FC (designed with Naze32 in mind) and bottom one to serve as landing skid/battery holder/cover.
