I wanted to create a Hearthstone Arena Key with some substance. Something worth holding that would be a mean desktop show piece or trophy. I'd modelled up a few of the other keys at approximately realistic key size and found that scaling them up, they didn't quite come out as I'd wanted. So I remodelled the 12 wins key with the intent of having to assemble it, meaning each individual piece would print better and fit together snugly. In addition it would also allow me to hollow out the head of the key and implement LED lighting* to really make it stand out. *This is still a work in progress. I have yet to add in the lighting component and 3d modelling work to accommodate the LEDs, power source and switch.Printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2, sliced with Makerware with the following settings: Infill: 15% Shells: 2 Layer Height: 0.1mm Temp: 200C - Diamond Age Ivory PLA with Support* (except the diamonds, they don't need it) The barrel of the key is a piece of Aluminium tubing, 100mm Long x 10mm Diameter.
